After I got home from my walk, life got a bit brighter even though I already felt better. My friend K said she was going to start going to the gym again and asked me if I was. I told her I am quitting it but that I was still up for a couple cocktails whenever... She asked about tonight, I said R and I were prolly going to our fave watering hole. So, she is going to come with us, and also my friend Dimples is going to be there. I hope she finds him cute! I think he's adorable... they are both single and both great people... I don't know her taste though.

I have also come up with a plan. I am going to take the gym money and put it towards weight watchers. Weight watchers has worked for me in the past, so I think I am gonna give it a shot again. Something about keeping the points keeps me disciplined. I haven't been able to do that for myself with Spark people!

Anyways, I get to leave work and go directly to the bar. hehe That's a beautiful thing! I am jealous that R gets to be home all day, but it's also nice because once he starts his new job I won't be able to talk to him anymore since it's secret crapola work and he can't even have his cell phone on him. :0( I told him he can no longer be my in case of emergency! Kinda sucks but what can ya do...

R fixed my desktop computer last night. My ex J built it for me back in 1999 I think. The puter is almost ten years old! It's still running! I have updated bits and pieces of it (all minor) and it's good as new. I love it. Apparently all it needed was a $40 power supply. :0)

So, even though I have been thinking all day that this is Friday, it's still a decent day. I hope it remains to be so! I think it's gonna be hella busy, but maybe that will make the day fly - and I will be at the bar with my peeps before I know it! Dare to dream...

I sent in my application to volunteer at the sanctuary. I hope I hear from them soon!
