Sore

Apparently I am super duper out of shape still. The trainer said that I really should focus on muscle strengthening and that he wanted to help me correct what I as doing wrong to avoid future issues - as if I can afford the man! He said that my squats were not efficient and some other things... Anyways - last night as R and I were lounging on the couch with the boys he mentioned how sore he was. I agreed - I wasn't bad, but I felt more sore than normal after bike riding... And I assure you, the trainer didn't have us running or anything that would SEEM to pull muscles!

This morning I am HURTING! It hurts to climb stairs, I squatted down to get fruit out of the fridge and almost cried... it's crazy! I never thought a few squats would kick my arse but they did. I am glad R is feeling it too though, otherwise I'd really feel like a la la la loser! haha

Anyways, it's a crazy week at work. This morning I have been bombarded by lots of things that aren't fun but I guess that's why they call it work, right? BLECK! :0)

Happy Monday people! (is that an oxymoron? hehe)

Just take it slow and easy and don't push yourself too hard...you don't want to hurt yourself

Be careful about the squats...they are hard on your knees. I have had two knee replacements and trust me they are horrid.

Whenever I am in the casino (every day!) with all those smokers, I think of you and how you are quitting, and I hope you are having good luck with that.

It' always hurts in the beginning and then it gets better. I am happy to be off this week cause I plan on working out every day I am out of town. WHOO its the little things that keep you going. :)

I've never had the money for a trainer. But one of my friends showed me how to use a couple of the weight machines so I could work on my arms. It's nice to have someone push you to work harder.
And I think pineapple chucks should work just as well.

it is kind of good feeling when you have the soreness, makes you feel like you are making progress! I guess the thing is to alternate routines. like i know, miss couch potato here.

Oh, I remember all too well that pain after doing more workouts than my body was ready for. That's a good thing and a little motrin will make it feel better. And my favorite - pineapple juice! It's an anti-inflammatory and it tastes good too. You're building muscle!!!

have not used. So,he is waking up the muscle there for you.

No pain no gain. It's all worth it... and as sick as this sound, I miss the soreness. It beats feeling all lethargic and crap.
