On the Road Again

We are driving back from a long weekend at the lake... I adore that place! Kraymer loves it to for swimming purposes. Man that dog could live in the water! :0)

I just wanted to explain to some of you that lately I've been reading and commenting on your posts from the road, so I apologize in advance for using short hand sometimes... Ie u instead of you.

I got to meet up with my high school girl friends yesterday for a few hours, that was very nice. I miss them living so far away, but if I left where I am now I'd miss people there too, so what can ya do? Just gotta travel I guess.

Anyways, I hope you all stopped to remember the troops today past and present. I read a sign on our travels that said land of the free because of the brave. I thought that was fitting.

Happy Monday peeps! Hehehe

"Land of the free because of the brave"! That says it better than I could have.

I'm still hoping they come up with a faster or cheaper way to travel so I can see my loved ones more often. And I like the sign and sentiment, "... because of the brave."

Rex loves water. By some mysterious alchemy his coat sheds dirt instantly.
We would get him a swimming pool but he would track in mud. He can
be covered with mud and fifteen minutes later he is clean again.

Travel is the only solution to wanting to be in two places at one time. I would like to do three or four places at once - two homes and a road trip and a couple of months on a nice beach. So I should say science fiction is the only solution.

Maybe someday in the not to distant future an easy solution will come for this issue...

We did have a splendid time up at the lake. Kraymer is the first dog I have had that likes swimming. He entertains himself and it's really quite cute!
