Sometimes Life is All About Cravings ...

I was just thinking...

I am trying on a "lifestyle change" aka DIET - which usually leaves me wanting more food...

I am trying to quit smoking... which leaves me wanting more smokes, always...

I am going to try to drink less... which will leave me missing partying it up Kdawg style...

I hate working... which leaves me wanting to retire or be homeless...

Seriously? Is this life? Sometimes it leaves me craving the ability to do what I want!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a passing thought... :0)

All things in moderation - a little of what you fancy does you good! I always find denial makes you want something more too!

Definitely take baby steps. I still have a little chocolate everyday.

start smoking cigars and inhale...you'll soon quit....try meditating...you can't think of anything when you meditate...eat salads...you can eat as much as you want...when you've mastered meditating...open a health club for people who wanna diet, quit smoking and learn how to meditate....

That's a lot of changes...maybe taking baby steps would be a good idea?

Quitting smoking, eating and drinking, huh? Sounds like you're going Presbyterian on us!
Remember, Ben Franklin said, "Everything in moderation."
Personally, when I try to make too many changes at one time, I get overwhelmed and then discouraged. Then I give up.
I find that I have much more success when I take on one dragon at a time, and only go on to the next fire-breather when I've conquered the first one.
I know what you mean about cravings sometimes ruling your life! Golden Oreo Cookies, Cool Ranch Doritos and Certified Gold Lager from The Main Street Brewery are my downfalls! (One could do worse!!!)

Love the post, K! Last month, I was at my last cake decorating class. I'd just finished my cake and was talking to the instructor about knitting and crocheting, and I said, "I just wish to hell that I could spend my days doing this kind of stuff instead of doing what I do everyday." It makes me wonder why I'm spending my days the way I do.

noooo! only tackle one thing at a time or you will be overwhelmed. what do want to succeed at the most, the not smoking, the losing weight, or drinking less? seriously girl, taking on all at once will leave you feeling deprived.
