My Kraymer Part One Thousand (It Seems)

I dropped him off at the vet again during my lunch break.

Ya know whats horrible? How excited he gets to go in the car only to have me deliver him to hell. I mean seriously... I need to take the boy out for pleasure trips I think and soon, or else he might be jaded!!! Poor thing...

The vet has called and she said that when she went in to place the drainage tube he deflated like a water balloon. This is a good thing. In 3 - 5 days the drainage tube is supposed to be removed. In the meantime, the hot packing and meds are to be continued. I can't wait to pick him up from there tonight after work!!! Does this seem like Deja Vous?

I have been in contact with our WONDERFUL pet sitter who said she was still game to watch the boys this weekend, with the drainage tube grossness. I just recently emailed her about the continued hot packing, so we'll see if she is STILL game, as it's time consuming...

I just don't know if we should go on this trip. I want to, badly, but it's not seeming like the timing is right... :0(
R said we'd wait and see how the Kraymer reacts tonight, and if all is well we can prolly go without it being a big deal. I love that man. But I love my Kraymer too.

AND the point of this post was supposed to be about working out. So I didn't work out AT ALL for a week. A WEEK! Did I miss it? Sure. But not enough to do it. So last night I was feeling lardy so I decided that I was going to get up just ten minutes earlier to walk on the treadmill. AND I did. I walked for 9 minutes and ran for one minute in the middle (which kicked my arse DW - How in the hell can you do this????) Can I just tell you how BAD my lungs hurt??? P.S. I have been smoking freely since I haven't been working out... MISTAKE! But it's so easy to smoke and so hard to work out... I paid the price this morning, which sadly, only convinces me more it's one or the other, and with having to wake up SUPER early to work out and hot pack Kraymer, smoking will win for the rest of this week.

Anyways, just thought I would share. Happy Hump Day.

Poor puppy! He needs a nice car ride to the park soon. I haven't been to the gym in almost a week either and I really have no excuse. But J eased the guilt by saying that it's good to take a break to shake up the body's routine... yeah, sure... I can go with that.

You will get motivated again. Just think, I am an old lady and I can still build a rock patio. It is so hard to quit smoking! I am making my patio everywhere the dogs dig up the yard. As they dig a hole,I drop a rock in it. Hoping they get the message.

Kristy, you are smoking out of your worry about Kraymer. I totally understand. Now, cut down, girl! Kraymer is fine and will get better and better. You have a good vet and he's in good hands. He also has you as a mom. Love ya, Deb

I am sure he's going to be fine. You have to make the right decision for all of you. Keep in mind that Raleigh is not going anywhere... and you can always catch the next festival. However, it would be fun to see a new area and get away from everything. I don't know if you'll be able to relax though with the bubba being that way... Anywho... no matter what I U!!!!

Keeping my fingers crossed for Kraymer, the poor guy. Now, if we can just get you to quit smoking...

heck yeah, I'm proud of your one minute run! The fact that you opted to run for a minute instead of walking is fantastic! You chose to do more, so of course I'm proud!!!

Your poor baby. You are such a trooper for taking such good care of him.

Since he deflated when she went in...isn't that a good sign? Sure hope so. Hope this means he's on the road to recovery and no more dr's..

I didn't start running until recently. I've had a whole year of hiking, walking, spinning, weight training and dropping 50 pounds before taking on running. LOL! But I'm so proud of you for busting out a whole minute! That's so awesome!

Still thinking good thoughts for the Bubba!
