These made me laugh out loud when I thought about them the other day...
I took Kraymer to the new vet last week, right? Well the dude who was checking us in asked me when Kraymer was neutered. I thought that was a bit strange but no biggie... I said oh years ago, June of 2003 maybe? He looked at me quite baffled and was like "It says on your appointment that you are bringing him in for suture removal from a neutering?" HAHA Can you imagine if I had waited 5 years to get his sutures out? I wonder what he was thinking in that moment... It made me laugh...
Then while we were at the mall this weekend I decided to use a gift card that I had gotten from a co-worker at Christmas for a place I never go to (Brookstone). I went to the cashier to see how much was on the card, the cashier gave me a receipt. We browsed awhile, then I decided I wanted a pedometer. This one talks to you, which I don't really want a mouthy pedometer, but you can turn that feature off and there was really nothing in my price range in this store, so I went with it. I go up to the cashier again (a different guy) to pay. I hand him the pedometer. He quickly sets it down and then asks me how he can help me. I was caught a bit off guard. Normally I go to a cashier, I hand them things, then they ring them up, then I pay. I was like "um, can I buy that?" He looked at me and was like oh, yeah... sorry. I saw the receipt in your hand and thought you were returning something... hehehe Makes sense afterall, doesn't it? That made me laugh for awhile too.
I hope you got a chuckle, if not I guess they were those "you had to be there" moments I know so well!
