I love them. :0)
We had a super fantastic visit out to WI. We got to see many many family members, which was very nice. All went smoothly (unlike last year!) so it was an enjoyable trip overall.
My middle brother took us all out to a hockey game on Monday night. The tickets were $19. He bought 11 of them for all of us. How nice is that??? We bought him some beers at the game to help make up the cost since he didn't want any reimbursement. I truly love smaller hockey though - AHL vs NHL maybe? Sorry I don't know the terms that well, but to go to a Caps game in DC is about a $200 adventure - for two people. By the time you get the tickets and pay for parking and have a beer or two, well, it's money out the window. I wish we had a smaller team to support because I LOVE going to hockey games, I get very into it. So much fun! And smaller team tickets are so much more affordable! And we got to park for free. Wonderful.
Anywho - a great trip overall. I am off from my job due to people canceling their walks until Tuesday. I love it! Although I don't get any money for it. I don't love that part of it. :0)
Ron called out of work today. Last night he said he thought he was getting sick. I swear he turns into one of the most pathetic creatures on the planet when illness *might* strike. This is a man who walked on a broken leg all night until the next morning. He explains this as he *knows* what's wrong so it doesn't phase him, vs. when his throat hurts the whole world must stop because things aren't quite right. I am totally the opposite. If I have the sniffles or a sore throat I can deal with that, but if my ankle *might* be sprained I am at the doc making sure all is well. Any insight fellow MyBloggersites? He's currently in bed, says he feels ok but doesn't want to be sick tomorrow. I guess that makes sense?
Well this is longer than I had planned on - so I hope you all had a MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a wonderful New Years Eve/Day!
