I used to bake an apple pie for Christmas dinner. Some of the family preferred it over pumpkin. One of my muses is tasting modifications to traditional recipes. So I began this:
Get red or purple eating grapes, the seedless variety. Cut a cup of the grapes in half and add to the sliced apples that you are putting into the pie shell. Do everything just as before, and the grape-apple combination will really make you happy! You can't believe how good it is!

It rained most of yesterday and all night. At about 9 a.m. this morning it changed over to snow, big flakes. Now we have about an inch of snow on the ground and much more coming. By late tonight and through tomorrow it will be very windy and cold. I am all set for a two-day lager-in. We are well stocked here. I did go out for a six pack of Blue Moon when I saw the snow begin. LOL

The Minneapolis Metrodome where the Vikings play has a collapsed roof from their blizzard. The Giants were scheduled to play there today but the game was moved to Monday because the Giants' jet was diverted to Kansas City yesterday. They are still in Kansas City. Where will they play? Who knows?

We are stringing Christmas tree lights today.

I made the roasted pork loin last night, finally. The plan kept getting interrupted. Had parsnips and red potatoes with it and I made gravy with the drippings. Rosie, my lady cat, also enjoyed it.

I keep running out of the light blue ink on my damn printer.

I believe the scoundrels the voters elected are ruining the culture. I would hope there is enough potential for a real revolution left in the hearts and guts of our citizens.

What's the difference between a good compromise and a bad one? Depends on which scoundrel you ask.

Hobbes is getting many more Christmas cards than me. So far he has received 23. I have one. That stands up to reason because he is much more handsome than me.
