<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< END WHINE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
In the last post I said I'd be back with some pictures, and here I am. These aren't as impressive as the first red tomato of the season, but it's sunny and warm (Ok, hot and humid) so I couldn't resist spending a few minutes with the camera after planting what we brought home this morning. The latest additions, which aren't in the pictures, are a basil for the windowsill, some other lemon-something herb (I'll grow anything with lemon flavor) and a pot of cucumber plants that are in the garden but too small to make a good pic.
This is a view of the new siding from the yard. I'm standing under a few pines, and I though it makes a good pic with the sun shining through.

Lettuce and mint behind the new railing on the front porch. The lettuce was free. It was a bit overgrown so the guy was giving it to the locals since nobody will pay for it. It looked great the day after I potted it and we've already eaten some. Not even bitter for being overgrown.

The garage from the front lawn. The lilacs leafed in the March spring and the April freeze killed the buds. So no flowers this year.

They speak for themselves. 86 and humid.
