Chinezium Iware

I tried to upload a couple of photos but they both posted sideways and there was nothing I could do about it so I deleted them.

For whatever reason (age), it didn't occur to me at first that eyeglasses bought over the Internet would come from China. But that seems to be the case at least with the company I bought from.

They all tell you how easy it is, and maybe to some degree I do over think it. But I took measurements of my old frames and of my face and I am satisfied with the results. I call them the frames I always wanted.

The first pair I received were almost impossible to keep clean, they developed some sort of haze so long story I complained and they sent me a new pair. These still aren't all that easy to keep clean, but I'm getting the hang of it. Seems like heavier cloth does a better job than microfiber and for the price, I'm really not too concerned about the life of the lenses.

A pair of glasses I had in the past developed a problem and they told me to send them to the lab with a note to remove the AR coating at no expense to me. If AR coating had been an option on the Chinezium pair I'm wearing now I would have declined it, but it's included with no apparent way to avoid it.

Thses also have some sort of blue-blocker which makes the white of my monitor screen very white which I like.

I looked on youtube to find a way to remove AR (anti-reflective) coating but I didn't find anything really helpful. Now that I don't really need to be concerned with the lenses of the first pair I'll try glass polish and a few other chemicals and see what happens. It will be nice if I end up with two pair for $39 and change.

I received a few bucks credit on my account from this company for posting picture of me wearing the new glasses on social media but I don't think I'll try to get credit for this post considering the complaint. On the other hand, they might like to let folks know that they take good care of their customers, so maybe I'll send a link along.

Looks like I won't get any more blog credit. I just went to the site to get the link and it says up $20. But here's a link with my mug shot on it. Click here to feast yer eyes

Too lazy to save money on glasses, go to ophthalmologist, get prescription, choose frames, they prepare, go back, get glasses, money money money. Ed complains. Just lost two pairs. Can't find anywhere. Color me hopeless. P.S. Absolutely must wear glasses when driving because I have double vision and see two roads and don't know which one is the right one.

Who knew? We just paid a fortune for Ted's glasses post cataract surgery.

After I had cataract surgery my eye color changed from hazel to teal blue. I am not complaining. And I have no idea why that happened. And I never asked my eye guy about it. Just enjoying my green-blue eyes.

Medicare is supposed to provide one pair of glasses within a year after cataract surgery. How come the surgery wasn't covered?

You certainly do need glasses.

You have me all confused--how did we go from Chinese glasses to getting credit for whatever???

Click on the link at the end of the post. They give you up to $20 in credit to buy another pair of classes. I got 5 for posting on their site and 5 for posting on their fb page. I can get another $10 for doing a youtube video but I don't do that sort of thing. Abuse of one's subscribers as far as I'm concerned.
