Christmas Break ... Freedom!

My Christmas break is going great! I’m officially able to sit around and do absolutely nothing for the next week and a half. The problem with that is, I can’t. Like I absolutely can’t just sit around and do nothing anymore. I need to be doing something productive like 24/7.

So I’ve actually compiled a list of things to accomplish this break. That way I feel productive and I’m not bored out of my mind and end up spending money I don’t have. So here’s my list, because I know you’re dying to know exactly how I plan to spend my break.

1. I recently downloaded a copy of Stephen King’s book titled 11/22/63. It’s about a man that travels back in time to stop JFK’s assassination. I don’t know why the JFK era has always been of interest to me, but it has. I’m about 100 pages in, and it’s pretty engaging so far. However, the book is 1000 pages long. So it will be a bit of a challenge to finish it before break, but I’m determined to do so!

2. I plan to see 2 movies. Les Miserables and Lincoln. (Have any of you seen these movies? Were they any good or a waste of time?)

3. I need to register for my new classes this week. I'm so glad they are allowing online registration - hopefully I will be able to get the classes I need. And no studio this semester!

4. I need to find a new series to watch on Netflix. I recently finished the Dexter series, so I’m thinking I’ll go with Deadwood.

5. I’ll try to go out at least 5 times this break. Hang with friends, watch some movies, ski, try ice fishing, play some games. Whatever it takes to just chill out.

So that’s my plan. And now I know you’re like all excited for me and are so thrilled I shared my goals with you because you just care that much about my life. :-P

Happy 2013 everyone! Keep it safe!

I am surprised Martin didn't freak out about you not taking the time to relax. LOL! He is always after me over that one. While you have scheduled things for your vacation, most of them sound like a lot of fun. Enjoy!

That's because you don't know how to relax--even when you do you worry!

#2 If you would catch up on blogs you would see I reviewed both movies.
We would care a little bit more about your life if your would care any for ours---in other words with your free time this week how about commenting on people's blogs IF you want them to read and/or comment on yours!

I did some catching up on blog reading (and posting) tonight - hopefully I'll follow everyone's posts a lot better. It's tough though!
