This is my first post on mybloggers (love the name of this website), so go easy.

Let's see. A little bit about me: I'm 18, a college freshman, part-time road worker, brother, uncle, handy man (I can fix almost anything), collector of Mineral rocks, lover of most kinds of music, not a fan of Italian food, have a sick sense of humor, love to laugh, extremely protective of my family and friends, and a sports fanatic.

If you've read my profile you will also notice that I'm gay. I came out recently to my family - I've sort of always known I was a bit "unique" but its all good. My parents are learning to cope with the fact I can't change my stripes, and I definitely don't want to. Being me is too much fun!

I guess I should also tell you that I'm Bipolar. That diagnosis caused my parents a lot more grief than the whole gay thing. It's been kind of difficult dealing with it, but I think overall I'm learning to handle it much better.
