Good Humpday, MyBloggerstown:
Well, its here. We'd hoped we had avoided this awful contagion but there's no doubt about it...we have it. Bedbugs. Yes, ladies and germs the infestation that is sweeping the country is now here at Shady Pines. Needless to say we are all mortified.
So today the Cowsnot Housing Authority has scheduled apartment inspections for the entire building. They were 'asposed to begin at 1pm(MDT) and end whenever they were done but I have seen hide nor hair of Elmo Buttcrack, head of maintainence, or his minions who are to be the ones conducting the inspections.
I know I do not have them because I have looked carefully at all my furniture, beds, bedding etc and have found nothing. I have always been careful about used items of that sort. Jees, one more thing for me to fret over.
The weather here in Cow Snot has turned gloomy and chilly. Feels more like October 7th than July 7th.
Frontier Days, billed as the "Daddy" of all rodeos is slated for the last week of the month. You can tell its getting close by the number of ijit tourists being observed about town. Brother Bubba sez you can tell the tourist "cowboys" from the real ranchers because the tourists clothing is sparkling clean, new and unworn looking. Real cowboys have scuffed up dirty boots, worn faded jeans and sweatstained stetsons. It's a real freak parade, lemme tell ya.
Otherwise things go on as usual. My life drags on.
