Good Humpday, MyBloggerstown:
We here at the Shady Pines Senior Complex have been without hot water for two days now. This happens with great regularity(one of the few things that happen around here with regularity..har har). The Cow Snot Housing Authority, the agency that runs this shit hole, needs to install a new boiler but they have been half assing around trying to patch up the old one. It would be more cost efficient to get a new one but they continue to drag their feet. Meanwhile we have a bunch of stinky old people who cannot bathe, wash dishes, clean apartments etc. One lady is having her annual inspection and cannot clean properly without hot water. Its a big mess and everyone is up in arms. Some bright resident(moi) even suggested subtracting a dollar from the rent for every day we are without hot water. This would no doubt result in our evictions and you'd have 54 old crocks down at the railroad yard living under the overpass. I call dibs on the section furthest from the tracks.
In other news, the celebration for the kids' graduations/promotions is tentively scheduled for this weekend, weather permitting. Crazy Sis and I are slated to go over to the hardware store and check out the bar b que grills. The old one is pretty much shot. I am dying for a cookout. Nothing tastes better than food cooked outdoors.
Jethrene finally got around to passing out school pictures of Daisy May and Jethro. They are just the cutest kids ever. Its amazing to see how fast they are growing up. Daisy will be 6 in October, Jethro will be 5 in September. Where have the years flown to? Jethro started out looking like his mama as a baby but as he grows he begins to look more and more like Shitstick, his erstwhile daddy. But that's not his fault. He and Wednsday are going to summer school for some remedial work but they should be fine come the start of the school year.
Well, guess I'll go boil some water and take a bird bath so I don't rot the noses off the entire state of Wyoming. Have a good week, everyone.
