I got my mail in ballot last week--mailed it in the next day--and it shows up on my county election page as being counted!

We are just HOT---very little rain--our low is usually 80 or 81 and our 'feels like' temps are over 100 during the day which is very rare for us---90s yes but 100s no! My sister-in-law and my niece and her family live near the fire zones!

It's our hurricane season and has already had 11 named storms--usually, those don't come until November so who knows what's ahead. Meanwhile, we are having a lot of sun, heat and humidity which can trigger our fires but so far none! Mother Nature has gone crazy over the way the humans are treating her lands! !
I'm not much into pies--I prefer cakes BUT if you bake and send me a pie I'll eat just to be a nice guy!
