Fatigue

I've had COVID-19 at some point in time. Without a doubt.
A friend HAD TO MOVE TODAY because his contract was up and he and his wife tested positive about 8 days ago. I really didn't want to go over there, but there wasn't anyone else and his wife couldn't help him.

Well...we were moving his stuff to the UHAUL and I got so winded I thought I couldn't get enough air. He was worse off than I was. I've been working out some and there is NO WAY I would have been that winded under normal circumstances. I remember feeling what I thought was hay fever earlier last week, but since it didn't match what everyone else was describing I didn't take it seriously. Evidently, that was the small dose I got.

I insisted on masks and I used gloves, too, but those two episodes of not being able to get enough air showed me I've probably already been infected. We've been quarantining anyway since several people we see frequently were exposed and tested positive. Even with the precautions in place, our congregation had an outbreak with about 15 infections. One lady had COVID AND FLU B!

We've been shut down for so long now and going back is going to be a severely scaled down version of normal.

Please do stay safe and protect yourselves as best you can. This is no laughing matter.

I personally feel the masks and distancing are effective, but if anyone refuses to comply, then there is the breach in our defenses.

That's a scary experience -- you may be right about having had it at some point. Isn't it awful knowing a little too much? I keep thinking about 1918 and wondering if people stopped worrying after a year or if they changed their behavior for a longer time.

Isn't that interesting, I was wondering the same thing this week. How long will this affect how we live and how long did it affect life after the Spanish flu?

So very sorry that you and Jennifer have both been infected. I wore two masks when I went to the bank yesterday...just for an extra layer of safety.

Honestly, this virus scares me. There are aspects that set it apart from anything I've ever encountered.

I know my wearing a mask makes me look sexier--if that's possible!! It's a good way to get people to wear a mask--just tell them that!!
You just prove my theory--working out is no good for you!
Take care--latest news is you can get reinfected!

*groan* I was curious about re-infections.

It reminds me of those years when there'd be a flu virus going around, and people would talk about how it seemed like it took forever to get over it and feel better again.

This one has some very strange characteristics that will bear some more study.
