1. My grandparents helping us finance this house because of the loss we took on the money pit.

2. It's little, old, farm-house appeal (all original hard wood, the front porch, just something about the "feel")

3. Marissa's Barney room, her little "beauty parlor" and using the faucet which pulled out from the sink to sing in while she was looking at herself in the mirror.

4. Sitting out back at the fire with friends.

5. Bringing Kevin into our lives- a different pregnancy and times then they were when I was pregnant with Marissa, both every bit as special and unforgettable

6. My first teaching job (and many subsequently)

7. Going back to school to get my Master's degree while working full time teaching

8. Breaking my wrist-being in a cast for a month then having emergency surgery to re break it and put metal rods in it for another 2 months, then PT (all while taking care of an infant and a 3 year old)

9. Watching my kids grow from infants to children and pre-teens (I definitely could have given this house more than a top 10)

10. The good times and bad of our last years of marriage. The feelings and photo-clips left in my mind of both the things I'll miss and all of the things that ended in the demise and slow death of our promised love.
