Just a quick note for now. I had to get up at 4:30 to be at work by 6 today. whew what a day! My best bud John gave me a big hug at work and told me I do not look my age nor do I act it. LOL I came home to many birthday cards and an especially lovely homemade one by my kota!
So its nap time for me. The family has something planned for me later on but no one will say what exactly. The stinkers!
Did I mention it is hot here?! It is 73 degrees but feels like summer, very humid too. I guess we are under a tornado watch, a cold front is going to slam into this warm weather. We had thunderstorms last night which was really cool. I opened the window next to me so I could hear the rain better. I love storms. But this is so not November weather!
I have decided after this week and the next couple, I won't have to lift weights. I cannot tell you how many huge turkeys I have had to bag! Good Lord!
I had an older gentleman today tell me I had the prettiest smile he has seen in a long time and that he was sad to see I had a wedding ring on. He made me blush! But you know what, it is nice to be noticed at 44 years old. The weight loss, and firming up from tae kwon do, wearing makeup and fussing with my hair is paying off. Its weird for me to get compliments about how I look though.
I will be back later to report on what my family planned for me. Let's hope I survive whatever it is!
