I have been really tired all weekend. And I haven't really done anything to explain the feeling. perhaps that is why, I haven't been doing anything. Although I know I did not sleep well last night. I miss not having class over the weekend. And I never thought I would be one to really look forward to such a strenuous workout! I have lost a few pounds but I think I am losing more inches. I bought some new clothes this weekend, mainly for our vacation. The capri's are loose on me and I even went down a size on what I normall would have got. Now it could be the way they are made or that I have lost more inches around my middle area. But they are loose. Thats a great feeling!
I finished the quilting squares my mother in law had given me to work on and got some more from her today. I think she is excited that I really love doing this! I told you, she has a heart of gold.
Soldier son made it safely to Delaware on Friday night. He brought with him a lovely young lady, his girlfriend. She is pretty, intelligent, a great sense of humor. They also brought with them a puppy. He is part german shepherd. Not sure what else he is but the german shepherd is very evident. he is just the cutest little thing ever! Soldier son named him Rambo. lol Just like my dog Rambo. It has been nice to see him, knowing he is not going to Iraq again. Its more relaxed, there is no pressure to do things with him cuz he will be here a while.
I don't hear much from my family. My siblings and so forth. I am not sure why although I do know that telephones work two ways. *grins* I am feeling kind of out of the loop again but what are you going to do. You can't force people to tell you whats going on in their life. Although I imagine it would be nice if they had blogs that I could read and know exactly what is going on with them, on a day to day basis. So while they may know all about my 'exciting' life, I am kind of in the dark. And I am partly to blame. I could call them and say, hey whats up?
OH yeah, the big thing. Soldier son drove home in his new Jeep Tiburon. AND he let me take it for a spin today. The top was off, I took hubby with me. I am in love! With the jeep and the hubby. lol Gawd I miss having a car that is a stick shift!
so its been a good weekend. I need to think of a new name for soldier son as he is no longer a soldier. Hmmm, I could call him what kota calls him, Bubba. lol Although he told kota he would prefer to be called by his real name now. Good luck with that! He has always been bubba and he always will.
I know, a trip to Florida! Call MzScarlett and tell her to give you a ride down...
