Spring Sprang

Today turned out nicer than forecasted. When I went out to wait for kota to get off the bus, it felt nice outside! Still chilly, but the sun felt so warm! So we played outside a little. I wandered out to the front yard and saw, two purple crocus blooming, my tulips are up, the roses have tons of new leaves and even a couple little yellow blooms on my forsythia! WOW! It happened all of a sudden!

While we were out playing, our visiting beagle came to hang out for a while. He now has a collar and a flea collar so I know he is being taken care of.

Hubby's work is going to cut a check for the missing overtime in his check, it amounts to enough to get us through the next two weeks. See, I didn't even have to worry about it!

Now its time to start planning my veggie garden. I want a big garden so I can freeze and can things for during the winter. I need to get up with my sister in law about getting some old horse manure from where she has her horses stabled. She said I could get some anytime. Now I just need someone with a truck.

so folks, I am feeling great! Spring has finally arrived here, the weather can only get better from now on.

It won't be long before we are all complaining about the heat.

Want me to mail you a 50lb bag of manure?
I can't wait for it to get warm enough to garden! I'm just starting to see hints of green grass. We probably won't have flowers for another 2 months!

Hate to be a spoil sport but winter isn't over yet--as you know by the latest forecast but keep on looking at those tulips, roses and crocuses!!

Nothing says that spring has arrived like blooming flowers! How exciting.

A warm-up after a cold winter is always nice!
I love the name Kota.

That's how things are! You don't need to worry, cause the Man Upstairs has it covered! Things are growing down here as well.
