I have had many dear friends praying for me and my family in this difficult situation of losing our home. And I have to tell you the prayers and good thoughts have paid off. Today was the best day we have had in a very long time. We feel like the dark cloud has passed, the weight of the world is off our shoulders. You see, today I got my dream house.
Hubby had put in calls to different people he knows, explaining our situation and to keep an eye out for something we could rent. One of his friends let him know about a mutual friend who might have a house coming up for rent soon. Hubby called him and yes the house will be ready in a couple weeks. He is doing some painting, replacing windows. We went to see the house today. It is the house I have always dreamed of having. Two stories with an attic and a basement. 4 bedrooms although two are very small. A porch that covers the front and wraps around one side. A nice yard. And because this guy knows hubby he lowered the rent by $200. Tomorrow we go to finalize the deal.
I simply cannot express how excited and happy I am. It really is true, when one door closes another opens. And we are going to be so much better off in this new house. I start work Tuesday at Walmart and my monthly income from just walmart will cover our rent. Kota is quite pleased with our new house. He already picked his room. Plus he will have a room just as a playroom. I will definitely post pics for you!
Thank you again, for all of your prayers and encouragement. You all have a very special place in my heart. Also thank you, for putting up with my whining and complaining. I have not been blogging as much as I used to and still you guys are always here with encouraging comments. I wish I could give you all a hug!
