Tornado Watch

I am sitting here wondering if I will have time to go and
get my prescriptions before the bad weather strikes. All
of April and May we who live in Tornado Alley are just a
little more stressed than usual.

It has been a good day. My antique club met this morning
and I made cinnamon rolls to take. They were still warm
and gooey.

I mailed letters and picked up the tag for the Suburban
while I was out. We seem to have an endless supply of
errands.

I am reading a very thick book titled "Elizabeth I" by
Margaret George. It is good. She fascinates me. Her education was phenominal for that time. She spoke 6
languages which made her an excellent diplomat and she
was so shrewd. She dangled the marriage carrot until she
was over 40. This book maintains that Robert Dudley was
her one true love.

I have a good movie to watch tonight. It is one of my
kind which is either feel good or comedy. Our taste
in movies is very different. This time I got my way.

I've been on edge watching the weather and thinking of you. Glory, what bad storms, and they will be rolling over Ohio today. Eeeeeks. Stay safe! So curious about Margaret George's book. Hope to find it at the library tomorrow....

I think you will love the book.

I've voiced my displeasure with my library when: 1) I/they couldn't find "Waiting for Superman", supposedly somewhere in the 'brary; 2) they didn't have "Swamplandya"; 3) they didn't call me when a book "on hold" returned (it was shelved). And this is a reknown "state of the art" library.
Keep your tornadoes away from my area.

Couldn't they order Swamplanyia from another metropolitan library? It got
excellent reviews.

We were out moving a 32' building in all that weather. Tornadoes were dropping all around us, but we saw "nary a one". I think I might blog about today, later. It was exciting.

Awww you're too kind! Thanks for the lasagna. We intended to return the dish full of something else, but we were leaving town and though it best to just return it before we left.

I can't imagine what it must have been like with those terrible winds
to move a building. Thank you for returning the dish. I forgot to tell
you how nice you looked yesterday.

NBC news is keeping close watch on the tornadoes and it doesn't sound good. Worried about you. Hope you don't get the worst of it.

I think only five people perished but the damage was devastating in one or
two places. We try to be careful.

Oh, be careful! I'm keeping an eye on your weather via your local TV station website.

My heart aches for the people in Joplin. Ted and I often made day trips there. It was a lovely place.

What's the movie you are going to watch? I hope you stay safe and get all your supplies before any weather strikes.

Little Fockers and I thought it would be funnier than it was. I adore
the cat in those movies.
