It is wonderful to have the sun, even if it has stayed cold.
Yesterday, I hopped out of bed, fixed waffles and sausage and hopped into my jeans. I feel so much more energetic when it is light and bright outside.

I took an armful of clothing to the alterations lady. I am so short everything has to be hemmed. They don't make nearly as many petite sizes as they used to. Could it be that people are getting taller?

I came home and baked a cherry pie. Then Ted and I picked out pecans for the freezer. I had them commercially cracked,but we listen to music while we shell them and it goes pretty fast.

It felt good to accomplish something....when it is gloomy out all I want to do is curl up with a good book.
