My Red Wall

Jeremy is a perfectionist and he did a marvelous job painting
the fire place wall. It has changed the look of the wood
work which was a golden oak that I didn't like at all. It is
vastly improved by contrasting with the antique red. He is
going to paint the rest of the room a light beige next spring.
It is wonderful to have him so near and so helpful.

I really enjoyed Sofia's pictures. The glamor shot was just
the best.

Our weather is just glorious but we haven't had a drop of
rain. We need it and Texas needs it too. The cedar trees
and pines which are indigenous to Oklahoma and Texas are
just like an accelerent when they are dry.

I am almost ready for the family reunion. I am just hoping
that it will remain cool so the kids can eat outside under
the pecan tree and the 30 plus that I am expecting can sit
on the porch and be comfortable.

I love golden oak. My dining and master bedroom sets are antiques- all a golden tiger oak. I'll bet the fireplace looks beautiful against the red wall.

I sure would like to see it! I've done a lot of house painting myself. Congrats.

Ugh... we have soo much rain in the east. Fire and water and they won't meet.

It is a shame isn't it. While Texas burns, the Northeast is drowning.

It was beautiful. I've considered making that my jogging route.

We were so grateful to have you help us out. How was the walk home?

Double Yay! Ted feels as though he can ask Jeremy for help and that is a
blessing.

We realize more and more that we can't do the things that we used to. It
is nice for us to have someone helpful near by. My son is not skilled in
household maintenance.

He did it so fast! Bless his heart.

Yes, since speed is my middle name, I couldn't have stood to have someone
who was slow help us out. He put on two coats of paint too!

Glad you are happy with your wall and very glad he is so close by to help you !

Yes, he walked home. I think it is less than a mile to his house. The
weather is so nice.
