Ted and I haven't recovered from our faux Thanksgiving yet. Our grand daughters love to wrestle with Ted and beg them to hang them up by the heels, which he does to their screams of delight. It is very exhausting.
We noticed some time ago that Adrienne was not getting enough attention and we have made a concerted effort to show her how special she is. It has paid off in many ways. She is no longer aloof but very loving. Ashley is cute and manipulative and like most youngest children gets the lions share of attention. We are so pleased to see that Adrienne is blossoming. She is the tallest girl on the basket ball team and that helps her self esteem.
I enjoyed visiting with Ellie and my son too. I don't see how Ellie manages to work full time, take the girls to Girl Scouts and Adrienne to her ball games and host sleepovers and do all the things good mothers do. My son works on his Master's Degree in Criminal Justice and teaches a full load of afternoon and evening classes so it sort of all falls on
Ellie.
Even though I am his mother, my son is one of the wittiest people that I know. He always makes us laugh.
this.
