Poor Rex, He is Depressed

What is a fellow to do when his dog pals move away? He no
longer gets his much needed exercise running up and down
the fence. He finds less joy in barking at all the dogs
that pass by without the help of the next door dogs. He
spends more time moping in the cavern that he dug in the
back yard. If I could only train him to dig in the right
places.

They were little yippy dogs who barked all the time but he enjoyed their
companionship. Ted is talking about getting him a puppy but I don't want
the care.

They belonged to Max and Sherry's daughter who moved out and took them with
her. Stay warm because another wave of cold is coming.

Yes, it is nice not to be assaulted with loud barking every time we go out
in the yard.

No. He is too disobedient and knows how to shuck a harness or a collar. He
wants to run off and my chasing days are over. He is so strong that he even
got loose from Fredo and Mike.-------------------------------

How sad ... I suppose it would be too much to handle to get him a pal dog?

I am not looking for a pal dog but if a stray came our way I might take it
for a play mate if he liked it. However, when I kept Thunder to keep him
from getting hurt until his owner found him, Rex attacked him and was very
jealous.
