I woke up this morning really reluctant to go out and walk
but forced myself out of the house. I met my son and we
exchanged family gossip as he was going home from taking
Ashley to school. Then when I got home I looked in the paper and saw a picture of my grandnephew who had been caught soliciting a hooker in a police sting. Prostitution is in many ways a victemless crime and my sister, his grandmother, has had enough publicity with her children and
grandchildren in the news. She and her husband were busy defaming me about my three divorces but my children have
never been in trouble and hers have hardly been out of it.
I made brownies and went to my study club which made this a
very good day. W e have a good time. There are just 8
of us and although I am the oldest member, we all get along very well and go places together. I think it does a world
of good to socialize with younger people. Their opinions aren't set in concrete.
The time for leaving is going ever closer and there is still
a lot of last minute stuff to do. I dread leaving Rex because he is a member of the family.
