Everyday Life

Today, it does not like there really is a blizzard starting
tonight. It is bright and sunny outside. We picked up a
gallon of milk just in case but I no longer trust the
weather people.

Ted and I went to Shawnee to get his prescriptions from the
Indians. I think his thyroid prescription has really helped. I cancelled my yearly checkup tomorrow and made it
for the first of March when we can count more on having a
nice day.

We had a really good time last night. Ted enjoyed it so
much and there was a lot of laughter and tall tales. It
was just what he needed. Hopefully, I can get him out
more.

It is time to go pick up the girls. Have a really good day.

Guess you guys got snow despite the beautiful sky?

When we had our big freeze recently, I bought 'upteen' packets of ordinary 'table salt', for sprinkling outside the doors (stopping 'slips' etc.). I now have a 'glut' of salt in my cupboard - I am prepared for the 'next' ice-age'

It snowed some in Colorado, but now looks like it's cleared up after only a couple of inches and the sub-zero cold is moving in. Here in Las Vegas it's very windy and going to get windier, but not terribly cold. So glad Ted got out of the house.

We didn't get as much snow as expected but it is colder than a witch's
appendage. I woke up early and it looks as though what snow we have is
drifting.

Interested to know what change has been made re. Ted's thyroid. I have just been increased from .75 to .88 and was told it would take six weeks to see an improvement if there is to be one. I got a couple more weeks to go. It's hard to assess, since in the middle of it, I got so sick. Glad you all had a nice time.

Ted has just started on the minimal dose of synthroid...a month ago and he
does seem a lot livlier. He had a really good time and maybe he will rally
for Bobby's birthday party.

Sounds wonderful about last night... Glad you had a great time! And I hear ya on scheduling things in spring. It seems the bad weather just keeps on coming!

I hope R. is back in Virginia. I am afraid he won't be able to get home, if he delayed.
