Devoured

Walking through tall grass in shorts is a very bad idea. I got trapped into it showing the farmland to a determined potential buyer. They just had to see it and were averse to driving down into the fields. I now have many, many chigger bites that are driving me insane.

They are so bad this year that the pharmacy I use has made up a concoction to soothe the bites. However, Gold Bond anti itching cream is better. I have both because I am desperate.

They are coming back Sunday and they are on their own. They know the way now. I wonder if they are suffering too.

Hope those people buy the farm. Let me rephrase that. I hope the chiggers buy the farm and the potential buyers purchase the property.

I can so relate....you can't walk through grass or even sit out on yer porch in the evening without being set upon by these nasty little beasties. By the time summer is through, I am usually one big walking, talking insect bite.

Here is something to be grateful for: you did not have to go off and squat in the grass! Sorry, just could not resist!

what the heck is a chigger! Sounds rude. Is it a tick? A mosquito (we call them skitters)? I am intrigued at what may hiding in American fields and attacking their privates and goes by the name of Chigger. What a great name for a vineyard. Chigger Estate. Sorry, my mind goes off like it has a mind of its own.

And the aggravation lasts for a week or more!

Ooooooh, do I feel sorry for you. I know those Oklahoma chiggers and they show no respect for a person's privacy, if you know what I mean. Hope you recover soon. That can be brutal.

Bless your heart, chigger bites are so much worse then mosquito bites. I know you are probably hoping they are covered also.
