The Guardian.co.uk had a blogpost asking readers about the GW Bush Library -- "What should be in there? What books should be on the shelves?"
Stating the query in two separate sentences is appropriate. My answer to the first one is, FBI agents with warrants for Bush's arrest.
The second question is irrelevant. No one who visits this building believing it is a worthwhile structure is interested in reading or learning anything.
But if it serves any purpose as a monument to the man's disgrace, which is important to examine for the future of this country, how about the Torture Memos?
I just saw a photo of all the past living presidents there at the library opening. Yuck. I hate seeing Jimmy Carter -- whom I respect -- ever standing near that piece of trash Bush.
hope so.
