Trying to do some work today. Most of the week has just been useless. Oddly, it was a week when lots of sales inquiries came in, after a thin period. Most are usual business requests, but one was for a domain ending in “-news.†It is like the opposite of fake news. (FakeNews.com — which was not ours — just sold a day ago in an auction for $65,000.)
Yeesh. On a separate domain, we got an inquiry, so I looked up the prospective buyer and found the most horrible news stories about him. Some people you don’t even want to deal with at all. The domain in question is almost like that famous sale of the name “Hatred.com†— so you can sort of picture the type of people who would be drawn to it. However, it could be used for a book title, and also it’s the name of several games. I am not sure we’ll even answer this query.
