Winter

That is not one of my photographs. It was taken by a fellow Auxiliary member who does incredible work. He tried to shoot some white pelicans too (because I asked) but the water was too shallow for them to get close enough for a decent shot. Just in case someone mistakes my meaning, that is a camera, not gun shot.
I have so much to do and don't know where to start! I don't even want to admit this, but I am just today taking down my Christmas tree. Sad, huh? Well, I live by myself and no one ever comes to the house, so no one would ever know except for me telling you. Ok, let me stop procrastinating and get to that dang tree... then for some cleaning.

If no one comes to your house, why bother with a tree anyway? I've been treeless for the past 12 years (since divorce and empty nest). Whew!

It is finally down and all cleaned up. One thing did frustrate me- those dang trees never fit back into the bock that the factory ships them in!

I have been reading about these incredible birds — how cool. I've never seen a flock like that. Hey, enjoy the tree as long as you like! Several times I have kept my tree going through February, replacing the Christmasy ornaments with hearts for Valentine's Day.

I didn't even put mine up for family Christmas but I will next year because
I missed it. Love the picture.

Next year, I may not either. I took too much energy putting it up and then taking it back down.

A wreath or two and some Santa decorations is all that I will need.

No big deal on the tree - I would start worrying in March, maybe.

It is finally down and in a industrial trash bag because it refused to fit back into the box.
