I have been painting these past few days, something I have done far too little of this year. I wanted to paint a bear and once I started the background, I almost did not add the bear. It just looked so peaceful without him. There are some distracting vertical lines in the image. I don't know if it is on the canvas or camera distortion. Guess I will fiddle with that and find out.
September made me do this. I miss fall foliage. (Guess that is really October, but September starts the fall season.) And, why on earth did I want to paint a bear of all things? Well, I made sure not to over-paint the bear or the rocks in the foreground because I really like the distant trees.
