I can't figure out why the image uploader cuts some images off. Oh well, here is (hopefully) the whole picture.

I am not sure what to paint next. Fredo brought a picture back from Italy of a cat sleeping in a window box- at least I think that was one of his photos. I thought about painting that. Ideas anyone?

Saw it on Facebook. It's lovely. It makes me want to see more fall colors â€” but I love the idea of a cat sleeping in a window box!

The cat was one of Fredo's, I think. It just looked so comfortable sunning in the box- and smooshing the flowers.

I love that river and the fall colors. The bear doesn't look like he's looking for fish, he's just wading across looking toward the shore, or maybe he's wondering where the fish are, and should he keep standing here waiting for them, or go look for berries.

Still not sure why I wanted to paint a bear. Even I cannot explain my muse sometimes. Let's see- this year I painted a lion and a bear. Maybe a tiger is next?

I saw the copy from the fb link last night. This is much bigger even tho a portion is missing. No conclusion--good or bad--just the way it is.

September- fall colors. I am surprised at how the brown dominates, I think because of the purple.
