This is the last image I painted in 2010. I started out painting a mother and child but the Christmas season intruded and it ended up a Madonna and child. It will work for a Christmas card. The image is small. The dimensions of the original are about 8"x11". I also fixed the other image- the one of the house in the snow. I corrected the windows (spaced them evenly and straightened them) but there is no need to post that again. Maybe next year...oops! This year I will print assorted cards, religious themed ones for my Christian friends and general holiday themes- like the house in the snow- for my non-believing friends.
I had a good time last night at my friend's house. We played with the Wii, sang some Karaoke, ate lots of delicious fingerfoods and toasted the New Year. By 12:30 we were all ready to pack up and go home.
Yesterday, I posted about the fireworks on Tampa Bay. Well, at about 4 o'clock I got a call wanting to know if I would crew for someone who was doing a safety patrol in Tampa for the fireworks. I wish that I had not committed myself already or I would have gone! As of midnight I am no longer crew qualified. I missed my three-year recertification and until I complete that, I am off the water. Hopefully, we will get out some time this month to get that done.
Funny- I am in a good mood today, feeling downright cheerful for no apparent reason. Hope you are all having a good day!
