I finished the photo book about Tod and wrote a brief biography for the first page. That was the hardest part of all. Glad it is finished. I know my family will cherish it.
Been doing some reorganizing and cleaning. I have boxes of household items and furniture in the garage to get rid of and I thought I'd call Purple Heart or St. Vincent De Paul to have the stuff picked up. No one picks up anymore, and the Salvation Army will take it only if I bring it to a collection center. I don't have a truck. Now what?
The picture of the boat is the Star Ship cruise ship. It was a commission for the Tampa cruise line. The signal flags across the top read, "Happy Holidays". It is for their Christmas card this year.
I have started working on the next issue of the news magazine that I do for the USCG Auxiliary 7th District. It is tedious and sometimes downright difficult, but I love doing this! Definitely serves as a distraction from all of the other things in life. Trouble is, it takes up so much time that I don't have any left to paint. I finished the Star Ship (above) about three weeks ago and have done nothing new since.
