My Thanksgiving was about as bad as I expected it to be.

1. I have/had a cold. I'm over the worst of it now, but it just added to the misery

2. DH picked a 'fight.' Not really a fight, just did something to upset himself to make the weekend worse.

3. Kids were horrid and fighting all the time. Got themselves banned several times from all electronics.

4. My dad has been in the hospital. He's home now, but may have cancer, again.

5. My 3year old pony injured his eye. Luckily I keep eye ointment (which I have to jump through hoops to get from the vet) and he seems to be healed up

6. Dinner at the inlaws was interesting, in a bad way, as usual. SIL has a hacking cough from being overweight, GMIL is at death's door, Aunt-IL bosses everyone around, and MIL is a... armchair micromanager? "MIL: S, do you need help? S:No. MIL:D, go help S. S:I DON'T NEED HELP!" It sounds stupid when I type it, but she just nitpicked constantly and it's horribly annoying.

7. I spent hours outside doing garden and animal work. What did DH do? Stood in the kitchen, cleaning and baking cookies and washing dishes (yeah, some women want this, but when that leaves ALL the yard work to me and he doesn't do the man work around the house like cleaning out the drains that are backed up... it makes me SO MAD!)
