I am really impressed that you would babysit a 5 month old. That is not an easy job. I hope my kids don't ask me to babysit. I would of course, within limits.
Alberta has all the snow. And ice.
Dang!
It is still very pretty.
I grow purple carrots and they bleed over everything! Red though, not grey. Nut. yeast is yummy on kale chips and popcorn.
At the Library, I've had people ask me to type for them, write their job cover letter, blame me for a change to Hotmail that makes it more difficult to print an email, shred their personal documents and then there is the guy who has been coming for months now to look at porn on the computers. Even after being asked to leave once, warned a few times, told not to shut off computer, he still comes nearly every day! Some requests are just unreasonable, so they are refused. Like shredding a pile of your documents (a few, yup, I'd do that)
I'm wearing the scarf you sent me nearly every day. It's even warm enough for the -20c days! And EVERYONE asks me about it. And I see them EVERYWHERE too! They are apparently the big fashion statement of winter 2012-2013. I had a "what a week" too. I inherited two hermit crabs from DD (DH was going to give them back to the store! No way I said!), and I had 5 appointments in 3 days! *CHOKE* And I need to make 2 more for this week.
WOW! Now that's a nice gift of yarn!!
Nice!!
I'm amused that there is a name for not eating crap food. Both my mom and the in-laws tend to be annoyed at me when I won't eat/drink certain stuff - especially pop & dreamwhip. The in laws eat dreamwhip like it's an important food group. My mother exclaimed to me just a few days ago, if you don't eat dreamwhip, then what do you eat!!!??? Umm, well, I just don't eat it.
I have a headache from wine, and feel sick from the food, but other than that, xmas was okay here. And there is some very good stuff on sale for boxing day. No, I didn't shop today.
