I agree with most of your list. I don't quite agree on carbs & potatoes, unless you are talking carbs at the expense of vegies, and potatoes done in an unhealthy way. As for risks - I take calculated risks. But, I'm bored, so taking some little risks adds some excitement & adventure to my life (A risk I took recently: kid's school was going downhill skiing, they didn't take me as a volunteer, so I took the risk of going skiing all by myself, with my older equipment that the ski shop guy called "vintage", taking more difficult hill routes as I got my "ski legs" back. Made friends with a cute young ski attendant & Had SO MUCH FUN!) Checked on the kids once in a while.

If it helps, I've managed to attract a nut bar by having perfectly legal topsoil fill placed in my pasture. There was a complaint, and it's going to cost a lot of time and stress (and maybe $400+) to sort it out.
