I don't know how I missed this Laurie. When I read it I started to cry and had to stop for a minute to keep going. You are right, he is a monster of the worst sort. My prayers are with you and her and the rest of the family. One thing I might butt in on is the question of counseling. At her age it would be mostly play and drawing and story telling. It's not the kind of counseling adults get. It won't hurt her to bring it up again, she's probably thinking about it a lot. Thank God your daughter found him before it went beyond touching.
Now that is something to celebrate!
I have a recipe for a knockoff of Starbucks Frappucino and it was good. It calls for espresso, cream and ice cubes. There may be more ingrediants but I can't remember right now and I'm too lazy to get up and walk 2 feet to get my recipe box. I'll find it and post it.
Great pics, Laura! I think I read that minks are the most predatory animals. Did you feel his fur when be ran by? I'll bet it wasn't as soft as the coats are.
My little foster dog, Clyde, had a playdate with two other mini doxies. They have short hair, his is long but they still recognized each other and were instant friends! It's so good for dogs to socialize - that's why I belong to the park.
Thanks for keeping us updated. I hope he's back to blogging (and reviewing movies) soon. Good to hear he's doing so well.
Another good one!
Congrats on your wins, Jon! I knew you had it in you!
Yup, they must be clones...
So, tell us, where is her blog? She sounds so much like my ex's ex-wife, it's uncanny.
Beautiful! You are zipping right along with finishing projects. I agree with nittineedles - it will be a family heirloom they will treasure. Pretty colors, too. That looks like the pattern you showed me only that one was in polished cottoon florals for spring, rightr?
Okay, now I'm really confused. You pay rent? I thought you owned the condo and would be paying a mortgage? Next question. Somehow I missed something - originally I thought R was going to move into the barn when it was "done." Now you say he's still with you, which is probably a good thing! Is he paying for the barn? Okay, that's enough nosiness from me. I guess I agree with the others - even though living there would be rent free, living will people you dislike could cause tons of stress.
What a sweet little girl. You are very lucky to have such a big family!
