I haven't been able to hang a roll of toilet paper in this house for 8 years, when we got Max. Kinda thought he would have outgrown that long before now... Buddy looks like he knows who rules your house.
Two years ago, one spray with Round up killed the poison ivy. This year, I used Brush-b-Gone 3 times and finally tried one spray of Kleen-Up to kill the poison ivy in my gardens. I still wonder if I had started with the Kleen-up it would have done the job all by itself. It is the most tenacious weed! I think that when they cleared the ground for the hillbilly house, it stirred up all the vines and so on, and that's where it came from. There is still one really healthy vine crawling up the utility pole at the end of their driveway. I hope they get rid of it before thier tot starts walking around on his own...
Thanks for posting this, Cindy. I got it in an email but it wouldn't work for me. Very cute!
I miss Monkey Ward's Catalog, and the wishbook (Sears Roebuck catalog), too. Got some great deals.
Bella: MRI - $2500; X-rays - $500 (cumulative); dental - $300; heart diagnosis $500; two emergency surgeries due to dog bites - $700; heartworm prevention for 6 years - $600. The love she gives me and those in the nursing home? Priceless. I would do it all again.
I wonder what Steve (looserobes) would have to say about this. I don't think it's a Republican thing, pols from both parties have done it. Still, it sickens me. Convicted murderers and anyone convicted of a violent crime, should be exempt from pardons, work releases, furloughs (ala Willie Horton) or anything else that lets them have contact with the public. I shudder to think who else he'll go after next.
I have a cousin like that. Her record was 2 hours because I couldn't tell her I had to go. She just spoke louder every time I tried to say anything... I think she lost my number although I wouldn't be surprised if Bridezilla's mom didn't give it to her out of spite. They're sisters.
Are she and Lupe related?
Cool pix, John. I love the way you wrote about ordinary things in a way that makes me wish I was there!
I like nittineedles' suggestion very much. I would add that the paper should be as tall as a stretching cat as mine do that when they are interested in a fly or a moth or a speck of dust... Either that or Laura's suggtestion that you find a temporary home for them.
I wonder if those are the same women who have the "hostile uteri"???
If he's had that many arrests and other legal problems, his folks might decide it's time to cut the apron strings and stand up for himself. I'm praying that he won't get out.
Good to hear about your back and Chance. The boy I had in my classroom with leukemia has lots of "low blood counts" that delay one treatment or another. Don't worry, he'll get it the next time.
