Hi Everyone -
I'll start off today's blog with some good news. This week has been remarkable for me. My back is feeling so so much better. It is like I took a big leap forward. I am just amazed and oh sooooo thankful for this improvement!!!!!
My grandson, Chance, couldn't have his chemo treatment this week. His blood counts were way too low. So he gets the week off from treatment. He is spending time at home and then a few days at a cancer camp. I think the latter will be great for him.
Now for my concerns. I've got a few things troubling me and I am going to mention them here on my blog. I'm really not out to start a big arguement or discussion. I just need to "air" my concerns.
The first concern is Barack Obama. To tell the truth... he scares me. I just couldn't ever vote for a person who has had such close ties to anti-American figures. His wife's comments concerning America have also caused me great concern. I also don't get why so many people think he is sooo great when he is a person that lacks experience. I know he is a great speaker, but he also has some great speech writers. If he has to speak "off-the-cuff", he just isn't that great. I pray that Americans open their eyes and take a good looke at this man. He isn't what the media is putting him up to be. FACT IS... IT IS SAD THAT THE MEDIA MAY BE THE ONE ELECTING OUR NEXT PRESIDENT!!!!
My other concern is the recent move against truck drivers. In the media, they are being portrayed as a bunch of sickly overweight men with sleep apnea. Yes, I'm sure that there are many men out their with sleep apnea and many of them don't drive trucks. I know I drove my car for years and I didn't know I had sleep apnea. I even fell asleep behind the wheel. But... to mandate every trucker to get a sleep apnea test is just not right. If they are going to mandate sleep apnea tests for truckers then they need to do the same for all drivers... including you!!!!!
p.s. I'm not happy that I have to vote for McCain. I don't care for him at all. But... at least he doesn't scare me. I'm sure he does love his country!!!!!
p.s.s. It doesn't matter who is President when it comes to Iraq. Public pressure is too great to pull out and so whether it is McCain or Obama.... they will have to pull out the troops. Remember Johnson campaigned against excalating the Vietnam war and Goldwater proposed increasing bombing. Well.... Johnson ended up doing exactly what Goldwater had planned to do. What someone says when running for President isn't always what happens when they become President.
Well... enough for today.
Love & hugs to everyone - Annie :o)
About Obama... well, I voted for Hillary.
