It is a gorgeous morning here in Southern Oregon. The grass is all frosty and the sun is very bright. There are diamonds everywhere sparkling with all the colors of the rainbow. I just love these mornings. The grass even has a slight tint of green.

Annie dog, Sam-I-Am, and myself are up and ready for another day. On Sam's list of things to do is eating and chirping. Annie dog just had breakfast and will probably head back to bed. She is 13 years of age and so she sleeps most of her day away. As for myself, having my morning coffee and then getting myself together to head to Klamath Falls. I'll pick up the meat at the butcher and a few items at the grocery store. JR will be home this afternoon to help me unload all of that beef.

Can't wait to try a steak from this beef. My dietitian warned against grain feeding. Well.... I didn't follow her advice. I'm hoping this meat is very well marbled. It was one big steer and so we should have enough meat to survive for a year or so. I had it double shrink wrapped to help it last for awhile. We even bought a new freezer to accommodate this huge beast. I'll check back with you and let you know how good it tastes.

Yes, JR is heading home. I sure will be glad to see him. You know, he adopted his son's dog and so that makes a grand total of 4 dogs for us. Jackson (Jax) is a Boxer and quite the character. He is great company for JR while he is on the road.
