What a touching photo, so sad and yet a powerful statement against war.

It sure is Marta, it's actually a very beautiful pic even though it is sad

They're no winners when it comes to war, we have wasted so much not only in taxpayers dollars but also in human life...and what do we have to show for it?? I believe we could fight another 10 years and still not be any further ahead then we are now, and it's sickening. The only ones profiting from this war are the defense contractors, from their backroom criminal dealings.

I agree, too!

Human nature what it is the photo won't change one person's mind. And remember I am an optimist!

Yes it is a sad picture but I feel a little uncomfortable that it was taken and 'published'.
comment by greatmartin on Oct 14, 2011 8:06 PM ()
I dont have a problem with it being published for two reasons. First and foremost I hope it sends the message that war is futile and soul-destroying as well as a total waste of lives that is incomprehensible to me. Second, although it is a sad photo, it is also a beautiful one and I hope this baby grows up believing the message himself.

Does anyone know how to make pics larger? It is not this little in my pictures folder.

The mybloggers photo software is nuts. I upload my photos into flickr, and edit/make them the size I want/need for mybloggers then download them again to my desktop mybloggers size and upload for posts. It's an extra step I don't need on Blogster but I don't mind, because the photos are more stable. I keep all my photos on flickr anyway.

My friend came over and told me what to do and I wrote it all down and I am better at it now -- but my problem is usually that there are to many pixels for the program and I have to downsize it. Not every program is the same. Do you have any computer friends who can help you? Meanwhile, good to hear from you. More communication please.
