I got this email ages ago. I researched the information and found discrepancies, half-truths, and some likely fabrications. When I commented as such and followed through by informing those who had sent it to me and forwarded it to others, I was bombarded with harrassing emails, not from those I had contacted, but from the originator or one of the originators of the email. What a mess...I was called names that I don't ever care to repeat.

They are all right. It is pure crap. If you want to make an intelligent decision about Barack OBama read his book "The Audacity of Hope" and you will know that he is our hope for the future.

I have read this before. The thing from my understanding based on what I have read from the Bible the anti-christ will be from Rome or some other European country. They will be living over there not here in the states. Yes, they will be charismatic and all but, their home will be in that part of the world. I think this is why folks got so upset and worried during WW II because they were thinking that Hitler was the anti-christ. I can see where they would think that too. My Mom told me about this and growing up during this time period. Plus, I have heard and read about it too. Personally, I don't care for any of the canidates running and I don't think that Obama is the anti-christ. IMO.

I understand the the "Koran" thing was not true, but was one of those Snopes myths. Check that one out, I will.

Remember that story, gleefully reported by FOX News, that Barack Obama had attended a madrassa in Indonesia for a couple of years as a child?

Well, it seems there's no truth to the story:

Allegations that Sen. Barack Obama was educated in a radical Muslim school known as a "madrassa" are not accurate, according to CNN reporting.

Insight Magazine, which is owned by the same company as The Washington Times, reported on its Web site last week that associates of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York, had unearthed information the Illinois Democrat and likely presidential candidate attended a Muslim religious school known for teaching the most fundamentalist form of Islam.

Obama lived in Indonesia as a child, from 1967 to 1971, with his mother and step-father and has acknowledged attending a Muslim school, but an aide said it was not a madrassa.


A Clinton spokesman has "denied that the campaign was the source of the Obama claim". So who's playing dirty here? The right-wing smear machine or the Clinton campaign?

Good job, CNN. I guess you've made up for that whole Obama/Osama thing.

This item, mostly false, has been debunked so many times and yet it still makes the rounds via the racist emails. Literally none of it is true. He was born to the parents but his father boogied away soon after. He has absolutely no connection to Islam, moslems or the Kuran. He DOES recite the pledge every time the flag goes up. He was sworn in with a bible. Check your stuff before you post lies and racist copycat crap.

Here is my opinion of this email. this is just another example of the idiotic, racist tripe that is circulating about nowdays. Mr. Obama did not take his oath on the Koran...that was another congressman named Ellis who is, in fact, a Muslim. If in deed he were a Muslim and ran around the country proclaiming he was a Christian, the whacko contingent of the Muslim community would be trying to kill him every chance they got for being an "infidel". We must try and remember that all Muslims are not drooling, slobering bomb throwing jihadist a--holes bent on destroying America. Just like all fundamentalist Christians are not homophobic, intolerent, doctor murdering, clinic bombing d-ckheads bent on rewriting the Constitution. In my view, the person who sent you this email and believes it to be true is a six toed, inbred, slackjawed moron who should really shut his or her uninformed pie hole until they get the true facts. But then they'd have to know how to read. All this controversy would be solved if everyone would just vote for me for Poobah.
