I am close to nature but do not have the inclination to help it along. I tried here and there when we were first down here, was very proud of my flower beds and twice hurricanes returned them to mud. Kind of takes the joy out of things. Also, I am not strong enough to garden and I now realize that my back problem might have been present for years.

Yes, go to England. I have never heard of Dippin' Dots ice cream. I am hoping to see grand photos of the cabin when it is finished. Let us know when you leave.

I thought the woman looked familiar -- she is Eva Gabor. The male lead is Eddie Albert. I never watched the show but knew about it. Typical sitcom jokes -- her cooking is bad but has its uses. Next.

Stunning. I too was reminded of Trout's river in Colorado.

You're doing mostly landscapes these days, but your people paintings are fantastic. Don't give up on people.

We've come to know him. He doesn't seem the type to get revenge, but I could be wrong. He worked for a major public figure still in the news. You'd think he'd be more sophisticated. He seems to enjoy their interaction. When questions come up, he points in her direction and says, "Ask the boss."

You have the soul of a poet. I will spend some time imagining we knew each other then and our inner selves of long ago will share some playful times. (And lick each others wounds over bad decisions.)

What was the date on that paper? That was, I think, the Rocky Mountain Herald.

How are the Vietnam buyers getting to see your paintings? I liked the peonies a lot.

I grew up in an apartment complex attached to and owned by the main Salvation Army Temple in Chicago. I studied music there. Attended Girl Guide meetings. Went to their summer camp. Played the grand piano in the big meeting hall when it was empty. Loved the staff band -- very talented. I don't know why there should be a Men's Dorm. What about the women? Went to their summer camp. I haven't played the cornet in years, lost my lip.

Our animals bring us constant joy ... give Rex a hug and a kiss from me.

If I gave my cats such a ball, they'd ignore it and make life hell until I gave them a regular bowl. Max, for instance, won't eat a full bowl of dry food until I top it off, if it has been sitting there a while.
