You're surrounded with painful situations and it is so very hard to face the inevitable. My thoughts are with you. Yeah, that was a great dream. I personally had nightmares -- about 5 -- my meditation tape didn't work last night.
Well, that was fun. Wish I had the techie smarts to post a few things too.
I'm so impressed with your ability to travel and have fun. I have traditionally married men who need to work all the time. As a young, newly-married person, I joked that Jay didn't take vacations, he took field trips. That got a big laugh from everyone and they totally understood. Ed is not happy unless he is solving a problem. He flunked retirement. It's good I am self-sustaining.
So sad to hear about your son's alienation. I don't see the attraction of Facebook, except I use it to locate people of prominence in the political area and post my objections to their lies. I don't use it for anything personal. So I hope you will come back to MyBloggers more often. This is the place where people care.
How lucky your neighbors escaped without injury. I love your birthday present -- it's lovely. What is a gucci neighborhood?
I feel for Mandy ... are you sure Rex would be territorial? Sometimes animals feel protective toward smaller creatures. A pit bull pet of a friend, was incredibly protective of a tiny kitten she brought home. About walking, Ed is making noises about doing some. Will wonders never cease.
Lots of stuff to work on -- keeps you busy. Like your closing line.
And to think I missed this. Re. Mr. YouKnow, he sounds just like Ed.
good news -- you're coming out of the woods.
I am beyond euphoric that the Court upheld the ACA and legalized gay marriage in all 50 states. Did you know that Mississippi is thinking of banning all marriage license issuance (gay or straight, doesn't matter) in an effort to eliminate issuing to gay people?
So that's why you haven't been writing. You've come through a bad time. we're in your corner. Sorry about the break-up but you seem to be handling things well.
Yeah, it's best not to let her know you already have seen the article. I love your pictures. Is that Paul's kitty eating next to a pile of whatever? Is that thing a kitty house?
Trading posts are a thing of the past. BTW, we have a pubic road called Burnt Store Road. On "old" Burnt Store Road, there was a trading post allegedly burned down by Seminole chief Billy Bowleges during one of their wars against the settlers. It is minutes away from our house and I love the name.
Couldn't see Angel ... awww. We're doing a big project too and have in past couple of years relined our pool and before that put pavers on the pool deck. Happy with it all but so much remains to be done -- like a kitchen update and a bathroom update. We'll see. Post "after" photos please. And give Angel a picture all her own if you will.
So often men who are struggling with health issues refuse to take a step back because they feel they can still do everything. I had a terrible time keeping Jay off ladders when he was losing ability. Also, he kept taking things apart, accustomed to finding and fixing "a problem". I'd come home and none of the lights would be working.
