My cousin in Illinois wrote this in an email:
"Now I have found an interesting article to send to you. I’ll put it in the mail tomorrow. Glenn’s sister’s husband has a subscription to Smithsonian magazine. They share the magazines with us. This latest one had a good article about Colorado and more specifically Estes Park and environs. I took it out and will send it. I would love to see the areas written about although I wouldn’t get on a horse to do so. While I’ve been to Estes Park on several occasions, I’ve never been inside the Stanley Hotel. I would like to do that next trip."
I can't decide whether to tell her not to bother because we have that copy of the magazine and I've already seen it, or let her go ahead and send it so she feels like she is sharing something important. Most likely I will let her send it because it's so deflating to be excited about something and have the other party burst your balloon. But it would save her a stamp.
The pictures are from my Uncle Robert's trading post. He has since moved to a nursing home in town, and my cousin Paul lives there.
