A Laugh at a Phish

This phish I got in my e mail is so priceless that I had to post it. I forwarded it to Spam@uce.gov and then deleted it as spam. I hope they can get these guys. It’s tempting to respond and tell them to f… off, or to pretend to give them the information they ask for, but all bogus, but that might be risky too.

Compensation Settlement Committee
Intl Compensation Council of Justice (ICCJ)

Dear beneficiary,

This is Mr James E. Morrissey, the new Director of Funds Approval, under the International Compensation Council of Justice(ICCJ), appointed by President Donald J. Trump. Your long delayed payment of US$10,500,000.00 (Ten Million, five hundred thousand United States Dollar) that was held by IMF/FBI has been cleared for immediate release under instruction by the newGovernment.

You must desist from further communication with anybody, group, or agency claiming to hold power of disbursement of your funds.

All directives will now come from the I.C.C.J. Following the new administration's debt settlement policy, we tendered your fund release file for immediate release and payment to you through Telegraphic Swift Transfer ordering within 48hrs of transfer to your bank account.

In this case, you are expected to reconfirm your Full Name (as stated on your government issued photo ID), shipping address,Bank details, Nearest Airport and your Direct Cell Phone number, for security follow up. These details are needed for proper verification due to fraudulent activities going on around the globe.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Nice money number, but I do miss the old Nigerian royal family emails begging us to help.

You would think they'd have more success by offering a believable amount of "compensation", but on the other hand, it's probably only the greediest who reply so the amount doesn't matter.

Nice to see the letter was updated to mention Trump. It's so old hat to receive a stale phising letter.

They obviously don't have very good command of the English language.
