Things are peaceful in our home, probably because the boys are still sleeping. I really enjoy this time of the day, it's quiet and all seems to be well. I get a chance to put my day in order and make up my never ending lists, so as I don't forget anything.

It's been so darn cold here, and now we're expecting a bit more snow. It is Winter, after all. I love watching the sun come up over the mountain outside my windows in the front room. I'm usually working by the time the sun comes up but this week has been great.

We're going back on four day work weeks next month. It hurts the pocketbook, but it's so nice to be home three days in a row.

I baked a turkey yesterday and as I was putting it on the platter I dropped it on the floor. I was home alone at the time and just started laughing. Hubby walked in as I had tears streaming down my face because I was laughing so hard. He tried to take pictures but I jumped up and put the bird on the platter and told him to prove it. He'a gonna have to be quicker than that.





I'm not sure what, if anything, I'm cooking today. I have enough leftovers to feed us for a week but I have been thinking of making Deb's sauce. Some nice meatball grinders would be good. I'll let ya know.
